2018 was such an action packed year for the Vanessa Piche brand. I successfully took my new apparel idea from one shirt to an entire line of clothing for men, women, and children. With all of the growth in 2018, and looking forward to once again expanding in 2019, I knew I needed some help. There always seems like there are a million tasks to get a handle on, and I knew I had to recruit the best of the best. I turned to the premier source for young, eager, and creative talent; The University of Rhode Island. URI is a hive of creative millennial worker bees who are the perfect addition to my team. The interns went through a rigorous interview process to make sure they were a perfect fit for the team. They had to be self starters, eager to learn, and excited about being a part of this fast growing team. All of the final hires were passionate about getting real world experience from a local business. I see each and every new member of the team to be an asset to my brand and I am thrilled to have them for the spring 2019 semester.

My name is Amanda DeSantis. I am currently a Junior double majoring with Communications and Public Relations. I reside in Westchester, New York. This past summer I interned with KHPR in New York City, which was a great experience to learn about what was out there in the Public Relations field. I have a major interest in the fashion industry, so working with Vanessa Piche is something I am very excited for. Our team is excited to work together and build up this brand into something even more AMAZING!

My name is Vanessa Romano and I am a senior at the University of Rhode Island interning with Vanessa Piche for the spring semester of 2019. I am majoring in public relations and minoring in business but have a passion for marketing and advertising. Prior to Vanessa Piche, I also worked with the Hula Fish Ad Agency and The Break Hotel assisting in social media and promoting the business within the community. I am extremely excited to get more experience especially in the fashion industry and could not be more excited to have a spot on this team for these next few months!

Hi everyone! My name is Siarra Chabot and I’m a sophomore double major in Communications and Public Relations with a double minor in Leadership and Business at the University of Rhode Island. I’m originally from Lincoln, Maine, but recently just moved to Mansfield, Massachusetts. This is my first PR internship and I thought Vanessa Piche was a great company to start with. I’m passionate about the advertising and social media part of PR and I’m interested in the fashion industry, so I thought this was a great fit for me. I’m very excited to work with the Vanessa Piche team to build this company and gain more experience in the field!

Hi, I'm Allie Probst and I am from Long Island, New York. I am a freshman at URI studying Public Relations. I am so excited to be interning with Vanessa Piche because her designs remind me of home. Growing up as a kid I spent my summers on the North Fork of Long Island in a small beach house right on the Long Island Sound watching sailboats and sunsets. When it comes to my professional life I am pretty organized and determined to learn from the best. I have had two great internships with Price Communications and Spark PR and I am looking forward to working with Vanessa Piche and her great team!
